Wetland Restoration

Masse Environmental is proud to support the Yaqan Nukiy and their large scale wetland restoration project at the confluence of the Kootenay and Goat rivers near Creston. A video produced by the Lower Kootenay Band about this exciting project is here.


Habitat Enhancement Project - Shore Spawning Kokanee

Masse Environmental ​is proud to be able to support the Friends of Kootenay Lake Stewardship Society and partners with their enhancement project at McDonalds Landing to provide additional shore spawning habitat for kokanee. More details on this project can be found here.


Recent publication

During species at risk surveys near Vernon, BC, Masse Environmental terrestrial biologist, Tyson Ehlers, identified a species of robber fly that had never been recorded in British Columbia, and co-authored a paper on the discovery with entomologist Rob Cannings. A link to the publication is here.
